Alma raises a $17M Series A

US company Alma helps professionals and employers with work visas and green cards. Its in-house lawyers work with a software platform that handles the routine part of preparing cases.

Bling Capital led the $17M Series A. According to Dealroom and Digital Business, Forerunner, MVP Ventures, Interplay VC and GSBackers also took part. The money will go to hiring and product development.

The company was founded by Aizada Marat of Kyrgyzstan, Assel Tuleubayeva of Kazakhstan and Shuo Chen.
