Kyrgyzstan rises to 92nd in the Global Innovation Index

WIPO has published the Global Innovation Index 2026. Kyrgyzstan is 92nd of 139 economies, up from 96th in 2025. Kazakhstan is 73rd and Uzbekistan 77th.

The country still does better on results than on the conditions for innovation: it is 79th on innovation outputs and 106th on innovation inputs. Its inputs rank is lower than last year.
