fDi ranks the Tamchy zone second in the world among new free zones

On 15 October fDi Intelligence, a Financial Times unit, published its Global Free Zones of the Year 2026 ranking. In the Rising Stars category Tamchy placed first in Asia and second in the world. The UK's Liverpool City Region Innovation Zone came first. Ten zones created since January 2024 competed in the category.

According to Economist.kg, more than 30 companies are now registering in Tamchy. The 49-year tax benefits run from the law's entry into force, not from a company's registration, and cover only activity inside the zone.
