We Fund Ventures, a $10M fund, is announced in Central Asia

The Tech reports the launch of We Fund Ventures with a stated size of $10M: $5M for film production and $5M for technology startups in the creative industries. Target markets include Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Co-founder Aizhan Alisherova heads the public foundation Vi Fund and has worked on Kyrgyzstan's startup ecosystem. The $10M is the announced size. The report does not say how much has actually been raised.
